At
Aswan Enterprises we offer coaching,
skills training and body therapies to facilitate your journey towards
wholeness and empower you to recognise and fulfil your potential for health and
wellbeing.
In return for
your honesty and commitment we offer a safe, supportive and professional
environment. The approach taken is both holistic and
flexible.
For the individual, this means that whether your needs are pure
relaxation or relate more to personal growth, transformation or skills
development, we will assist you to rediscover your own powers of
healing. The only prerequisite is a willingness to take responsibility for
yourself.
In the
corporate environment this means an individual may select and develop
the strategy most suited to their unique needs, within a framework
designed to achieve corporate objectives. The goal or destination is
defined by mutual agreement. The path there is
person-specific.

expressing your true potential.
Amanda
Lock has spent years dedicated to helping people understand more about
themselves. She is a kiwi from New Zealand who left home in 2002 to “follow a feeling”
and go to Edinburgh
– despite all absence of so-called "logical" reasons!
She now
lives and works in central Edinburgh and has
established her business Aswan Enterprises with a vision of more
actively guiding others to recognise and fulfil their true potential. While
she is the driving force behind Aswan Enterprises, Amanda's links within
the therapeutic community ensure she is supported by a team of
therapists to meet the demand for services.
Amanda's
background includes teaching communication, presidency of the Auckland
Branch of the NZ Speech Communication Association and 8 years in the
corporate arena with a leading New Zealand Human Resources Consultancy.
As Associate Director, she was a member of the national
leadership group, responsible for a sizeable team in a change management
situation. She has worked with a range of organisations and individuals regarding various
aspects of the employment relationship from a human resources
perspective, including career guidance, recruitment, organisational
structure, remuneration, performance management and development
strategies and responsibilities under employment legislation.
She
has completed degrees in law and psychology and holds diplomas in public
speaking & communication and speech & drama. In 2001
she completed Diplomas in Therapeutic Massage and Holistic Pulsing to
enable a more rounded and integrated approach to her work.
Amanda
is a Member of the Holistic Pulsing Guild of New Zealand and the
Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and is also
fully insured as a member of the UK Guild of Complementary
Practitioners.
She
takes a holistic and integrated approach to well-being that facilitates
self-responsibility for wholeness and healing. Amanda believes in your inherent capacity to enjoy
light-heartedness, vibrancy and fulfilment through reconnecting to your true potential & expressing
your unique power and purpose. She
is a friendly, positive, energetic person whose other interests include
dancing, music, creative writing, philosophical discussion and
exploring.
